For the 3rd paper when we discuss Fun Home as a family romance we could give examples from the memoir right? and I don't understand what you mean when you say "But how do you kill a father that is already dead?"

Fun home
Fun home was the most interesting novel we've read this semester just because it was something different. The pictures associated with the words made it a better story to understand and it felt like you lived it because you see every scene in the book and it makes you create some scenes of your own.

Well the Oedipus is about killing your father (literally and metaphorically). But Alison's father is literally dead. So does this have any impact on how she negotiates her "family romance?"
